Dr. Amy Au
Dr. Au received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Science from the University of the Pacific. She then attended the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS).
During her studies, Dr. Au found her passion for restorative dentistry and went on to attend three additional years of training in the Advanced Prosthodontics Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry and receive her Masters of Oral Science degree. She is a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP).
As part of her commitment to providing her patients with cutting-edge restorative dentistry, Dr. Au stays current with the latest advancements in dentistry, including state-of-the-art technology and updated techniques and materials. She relentlessly strives for excellence and has been recognized for her achievements with numerous honors and awards, including:

Dr. Au was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a foodie and a yogi. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her significant other, Matthew, who is also a dentist.
Dr. Donald Curtis
Dr. Donald Curtis has been a practicing prosthodontist in Berkeley for over twenty years and has also been a professor at the University of California San Francisco since 1986.
Dr. Curtis graduated from the University of Oregon with a BS in general sciences, received a DMD dental degree from the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center and a certificate in prosthodontics from the University of Southern California, and went on to earn a certificate in maxillofacial prosthodontics from University of California at Los Angeles. Dr. Curtis has held faculty appointments at USC, UCLA, and UCSF.
At UCSF, Dr. Curtis works with graduate students training to become prosthodontists. He has published over 50 articles in scientific literature ranging from how to decrease and/or reverse cavities to how implants work and how quality-of-life issues are related to dental procedures.
A native of Alameda, Dr. Curtis enjoys hiking and reading in his spare time.
Office Manager and Patient Coordinator
Marilyn graduated from NYCC in 1972 and has been working at Berkeley Prosthodontics since 2002. She enjoys working as part of a dedicated team and taking the time to get to know patients coming to the practice
Marilyn has resided in Alameda with her husband for 35 years. In her free time, she loves walking outdoors, belly dancing, ethnic dance, reading, and spending time with family.
Sheilia was born and raised in California. She moved to Atlanta Georgia where she received her Expanded Duty Dental Assistant Certificate from Gwinnett School of Dentistry. She has been in the field for over 10 years. Her favorite part of dentistry is seeing the results from cosmetic procedures and the beautiful smiles that come along with it. Sheilia is also gentle and compassionate with the patients and has good bedside manner. Sheilia's goal is to continue with her education in dentistry so she will have a thorough knowledge in all aspects of the field.
Sheilia is married with two sons. They live in Richmond California. On her off days, Sheilia enjoys curling up with a good book, writing poetry, and family camping trips.
Trang Pham, RDH
Originally from the bustling financial district of Vietnam, Trang grew up in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), where she enjoyed the diverse street food and drink. She attended the University of Medical and Pharmacy in Vietnam in 2008 and graduated in the top three percent of her class. She worked in dentistry for four years before coming to the United States.
Trang worked as a dental assistant while she attended Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California for her degree in dental hygiene and graduated in 2019.
Her favorite thing about working in dentistry is that she gets to meet so many people and help to bring a happy, healthy smile to her patients. She finds that her job is stress-free. She is a quiet person who likes to focus on her work and seeing to her patients’ needs.
When she’s away from the dental office, you will often find Trang sleeping, shopping, or enjoying new foods.
